Mechanical Estimator (Salaried): $75,000 - $90,000 per year

Actual pay depends on education, experience, and performance

UMC is growing and looking to add an experienced Mechanical Estimator to our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum combination of 5 years of mechanical estimating, project management experience, or a construction related degree. They must be detail-oriented, organized, driven, motivated and thrive in a team-centered environment. We are looking for an individual who is willing to emulate UMC’s Mission, Vision and Core Values. Mechanical Estimator Responsibilities and Duties

• Establish and maintain working relationships with clients, vendors and subcontractors
• Understand plumbing and HVAC scopes of work
• Accurately prepare estimates
• Ensure timely completion of estimates
• Understand and prepare cost analysis
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Prepare submittals
• Complete detailed handoff meetings to project team

Mechanical Estimator Qualifications and Skills

• 5 years of mechanical estimating or project management experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or other related field will be considered as experience
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
• Willingness to learn
